I’m a Brooklyn-based graphic designer with a focus on product design, specifically hosiery, small accessories, and travel bags. I pride myself on my adaptability and versatility, jumping from pattern to product to packaging easily, not to mention from private label to licensed product. I mainly work digitally but I also like to keep my hands busy painting with gouache, printmaking, and embroidery projects.
I have over ten years of experience designing fashion accessories. I’ve designed bags, luggage, socks, hats, and more for major retailers like Spencer’s, Hot Topic, Target, Urban Outfitters, TJ Maxx, and Walmart, among others. I have recently added luggage design to my repertoire and am so excited to be learning more about this category.
When I’m not designing luggage and travel accessories you can find me dreaming up manicures for @neckbreakernails or hunting for seaglass on various NYC beaches. Shoot me an email at gracensteffel@gmail.com if you’d like to work together or if you’d just like to debate the best sock silhouette (spoiler alert: it’s the quarter crew)!
